Hi Everyone, Barney here with today's news! I don't really have a good news format yet so I am going to be doing it as regular posts for now - I would love some sort of sidebar thing that can update all day, so if any of you out there have ideas let me know.
So our first news is about member Fiona. She had her dental surgery yesterday and the vet discovered she has stomatitis. She is doing ok but will have to fight this for her whole life. To read all about her day and how she is doing please click HERE. Please send her your best get well purrs.
Next we have news about member Tanner - he will be having a dental cleaning (I think today, 12/30 is the cleaning day because the post is from 12/29 - I am a bit behind on visiting blogs in addition to the badges), and because he has heart issues the anesthetic can be an issue. You can read about it HERE. Please send him lots of be safe and be well purrs.
Oh, and we are mentioned on the Cat Blogosphere today! How cool!!
Finally, at least for now, once Mommy finishes the member badges (hopefully today or tomorrow because Daddy FINALLY got her computer set up - at least we think it is fully functional - we haven't had a chance to check it because he finished it at bed time) she is going to begin working on a design for both Honorary Member Badges (we already have one kitty for that) and Friends of the NKC badges. But if anyone has any ideas, please feel free to submit them. And if you know anyone who would like to be one of these (Honorary are more for kitties who can be naughty but don't have blogs, and Friends are for either good kitties who are not naughty, or for non-kitties who want to join in the fun).
This is all I have right now but I will be updating as I learn things through the day. If any members have any other info they would like to post in the news, I think you should be able to go in and edit this post - just please note that it was added somehow, and maybe put your name so we know who added the info. I want to get one of those Mr. Linky things on here but Mommy wants to finish the badges before doing any more changes here.
