Two bad fursibs!

I think my fursibs Candy & EK should be members of this club. They were both very naughty this weekend.

Friday night, Candy peed on Mom's favorite carpet! I guess she was too lazy to go upstairs to the litter box. Mom got out the little monster machine that spits foam out its nose and cleaned it all up, then she sprayed about a gallon of that stuff that's supposed to get rid of the smell. Saturday morning she went to Petsmart and got all new litter boxes for us, plus an extra for downstairs. She also got a different kind of litter. Last time Candy peed on a rug it was cuz she didn't like the litter anymore. So now we have two kinds of litter - the crystals we've always had and Fresh Step. Mom tried The World's Best Litter, but that's what we were using when Candy peed on the rugs last time. We're running out of litters to try, so Candy better like the Fresh Step!

Today, EK hid for hours and hours and we couldn't find him anywhere. He didn't come out until 3:38 in the afternoon! Mom was just frantic. A friend of hers came over to use the washing machine. Mom was afraid EK had snuck out when the friend was going in and out the door. Mom looked under all the furniture, in all the closets and cupboards, all the bathrooms, the garage, all over outside, even inside the chairs she could see into. No EK.

She got out the treat bag and shook it while calling for him. She even made some chicken so he could smell it cause he loves loves loves chicken. No EK. Mom called her friend to see if EK had hidden in her laundry basket and went home with her by accident. No EK. She finally decided to just wait it out and hope he showed up. Well he finally did. Just out of the blue, there he was standing next to the sofa. Mom scooped him up and was hugging him and kissing him and telling him how naughty he was all at the same time. What a stinker, making everyone so worried like that all day.

Now, don't you think they qualify for the naughty kitty club?

  1. Sometimes my 3 kitteh sistahs hide in places where neither me nor Mommy can find 'em, either. We look EVERYWHERE, even in closed closets, to no avail. Still can't figure out where this great hidey-hole is, since I can't even smell 'em out!

  2. We love how hiding in plain sight can drive the beans into a terrible state of panic. Haha!

But Candy's peeing on the carpet, well, that was VERY naughty!
