Finally Naughty Enough!

I used to be a regular poster here on the NKC.  I often did naughty things that my mom would share with everyone.  Then a new foster dog named Ziggy came along, and all of a sudden, my mom stopped writing about me!  I hardly ever get mentioned on her blog, and she never even noticed when I did naughty things anymore because Ziggy was always causing big problems.  But I finally did something naughty enough to get her attention again.... I stole the lighter she uses to light candles right out from under her nose!


It wasn't easy, let me tell you.  First I had to climb up onto the back of the couch to reach the ledge where she keeps the candles and lighter.  Then I grabbed it in my mouth and ran like crazy!



Somehow mom figured out something was up, and next thing I know she is following me with her camera.  I had just settled down to some good chewing, and there she was, snapping pictures at the same time she signaled "no" to get me to stop chewing.  I'm deaf, so she has to use hand signs to tell me things.  This is good because it makes it harder for her to give me a sign and hold a camera, and I got in a couple extra chews before she made me stop.

Mom said don't worry about me, because I didn't manage to get to the lighter fluid.  I say it's about time she started paying some more attention to my naughty behavior around here - and if chewing up lighters is what it takes, then that is what I will do!
