Badges and Badness!

So first, I wanted to say I am catching up on badges - I have gotten a few more done and just need to resize them to send and post them. That will be done a bit later tonight. I found that the program gets very fussy if I use it for too long so I am going to go back in a while and try some more.

So, now for the badness - brought to you by our founder, Barney:

HELLO EVERYONE! I am so glad that we have such a good turnout so soon after starting the club! I hope that everyone had a good Christmas and is ready to start a new, Naughty Kitty year!

I wanted to tell you a little story, and hope it will inspire you to do some naughty things in the coming months!

As my mom talked about over on our regular blog, I decided to see if doggy treats are as tasty as kitty treats. Let me tell you - they are! I probably would have gotten away with my little naughty venture if they hadn't been so good they made me lick my lips! And after that I got all the other kitties in on the fun - Virgil of course (my partner in crime) and even Kirzon and Lola, who are old and not so naughty anymore. Virgil is the only kitty small enough and brave enough to climb on to the high shelf so he would go up and get them down for us when mommy put them up there. But the sad news is we never got into them again before Daddy took them away to our grandma's house for her doggies. Oh well. I know this isn't bad, just naughty. See we like to encourage naughty behavior - but be sure to stop before you cross from naughty to just plain bad!

I hope to read some inspiring stories from our other members soon! I loved the one from Epic a bit back - what a great inspiration!

For those of you who haven't done so already, please send my mommy your pictures to make badges - she is finally catching up (see, even she is naughty because she is falling so far behind). She doesn't want to take any from your blogs without your permission which is why she asks that you send one. Also, if you haven't gotten your contributor invite please let her know at the naughty kitty email address (thenaughtykittyclub at gmail.com).

I also think we should have some sort of member business area, or maybe a post. We have gotten great inspriation from some of the other kitty clubs out there and know they mention any member news. For today any news will be at the end.

Hm, well, I can't think of any other club business right now (I am only 7 months old you know) but if anyone has any suggestions for ideas or anything like that please let me know by emailing my mommy.

NEWS: Right now there is an auction going on for our member Fiona who needs to have dental surgery. If you would like to help out you can either bid or contribute an item to auction. There is a link in the left sidebar at the top to get there. We have something in there in the next few weeks.

Also, if you would like to nominate a member please feel free to mention it to them on their blogs - we plan to do so in the next few days with a kitten who helped to inspire the idea of the club. We are going to just comment and ask them to join but if anyone has any other ideas that would be great.

Also, we would like to have some fun member events but other than commentathons or contests for commenters we don't really know too much about them at this point. I know a lot of you are in other groups too, or have done fun stuff on your blogs, so if you have any ideas we would love them! This club is for all of us so we would love to have some fun things to do - mommy just isn't that creative and, well, I am still kind of little and don't know that much about stuff yet. We know it has been busy with the holidays but we are hoping that when the boring months of January and February set in that we can do something to spice them up!
