Virgil being Naughty

So, as the brother of the founder of the Naughty Kitty Club, Virgil has a lot to live up to. Especially since Barney is his YOUNGER brother (by 10 months). So this weekend Virgil decided to be a bit naughty. First, I have to explain, that Virgil is a big fan of knocking things down. He is also a fan of jumping on the kitchen counter (the only other cat usually up there is Barney). Sunday morning I woke up and noticed a weird piece of black plastic on the floor - and as I went to pick it up, I noticed that the plastic was from the lid of the dill that had been sitting on the counter. And then I noticed that there was dill everywhere! I think they must have thought it was catnip and spread it all around. This is the second time that something was knocked down and the lid broken - the first time it was the omega-3 fish oil capsules. I am positive those were both Virgil, because he just loves to knock stuff down.

So, after a nice snuggly Sunday watching the Puppy Bowl, I went into the kitchen, and realized I had left one of the cabinets open (I tend to do that) and who do I see sitting on the middle shelf - Virgil! I have never seen him do anything like that before, so of course I had to get pictures before getting him out. Luckily there weren't really any plates or anything on that shelf. Anyway, here are the pictures - enjoy the naughty!

Edited to add: As I was typing this I heard a crash in the kitchen - Virgil knocked the Worcestershire sauce off the counter, into the open dishwasher. Luckily it didn't break.

Hi Everyone! Barney here! We are super excited about the scavenger hunt - we hope everyone is getting a chance to visit all our members and maybe meeting some kitties or doggies you didn't know before. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact my mom!

Next we have a couple announcements. First, ♥Gracie♥, my special kitty girl, is having a big Super Bowl party on Sunday! Her team the Colts are in it, and they are playing the Saints. Since we are from Chicago, we are not too invested in the winner, but for me I am going for the Colts, to support my #1 girl! But we are very open minded, and we love all our friends equally, no matter what team they support!

Another bit of news is about Jazper. As you can see in the sidebar, he needs a good, forever home - but one where he can be an only kitty. We know that NTM is probably very sad about this, but we also know that he is doing what is best for all the kitties, which we really admire. If you know of anyone who is kittyless but needs someone to love, please keep Jas in mind!

Mom wanted me to let you know that if you have any announcements - like about Jaz, or like the one about Noll's mom's birthday, please feel free to post them - we love that kind of stuff. We don't just want to have fun and be naughty, but we are hoping that we can help out our kitty friends too!

Also, mom has added 2 Naughty Kitty mugs to her Zazzle site - she hasn't figured out how to make a separate area, but she thinks that if you order she can keep track of what is what in there. And once we can cash out we will use the money from any NKC sales to help out other kitties! There is a mug similar to the contest mugh (but it is different, because the contest mug has to be special) and then there is another one which is on a clear background (mom really wants to order one of those - the big frosted beer mug type, because it looks cool). They can be changed to different styles of mugs, like travel mugs and stuff too - if you want to take a look you can go to her store HERE.

And speaking of Zazzle stores, mom is going to start an etsy store soon, and she thought it would be cool to post a list of links to all the etsy stores that NKC members have. So if you have an etsy store and are a member, let her know either by email or in the comments - she will post a list in the left sidebar. And if you have anything else you want posted let her know - she is not going to be able to post everything but she wants to help out our members and friends as much as possible!

Also, if anyone has any great contest ideas or games that we can do, like the scavenger hunt (prizes not necessary of course) we would love to have the ideas, or for you to run it yourself! Just let mom know and if you need to have extra space for it (like we did for the scavenger hunt) she can give you access to the google site we are going to use for contests.

Finally, I am thinking of adding a second fabulous prize to the scavenger hunt, but mom hasn't decided if we can do that yet. Part of her issue is that the only place that has what she wants is in Australia - and she isn't sure she can get it in time. And of course, we plan to have some fun stuff in the prize too - we will let you know if she adds the second thing on.
