Take Time To Smell The Flowers

Sometimes I do things that well, one might think are naughty but I think it is just plain old fun.

The mom was cleaning the other day and put this beautiful arrangement of flowers on the floor that I had never seen before so of course I had to explore things. I knew that I would have to be quiet while exploring this new because I was pretty sure it wasn't a toy for me and the mom would probably side track me into playing with something else.

This was such a fun game! I was thinking that maybe it was a toy for me and the mom forgot to give it to me and was going to surprise me later with it. One thing lead to another and then before I knew it the flower thingie was over on its side and when I played with it you could hear noises from the basket going across the tile floor. It was then that I heard the mom's footsteps . . .

. . . I knew she heard me and was coming to check on me to see what I was up to. I thought if I froze and didn't move I wouldn't blow my cover and she would not notice me or the flowers . . .

. . . I was wrong, not only had she discovered me and what I was up to but she got the camera.

The one thing I really like about the mom is that when I am being naughty she just thinks I am sooooo cute she doesn't scold me at all. She will usually get the camera and shoot away at what I am up to. She has told me that unless I am in danger I can pretty much do whatever I want. Good deal isn't it? I am proud of my training of her and how she sees things my way. I will say that most of the time I am a good kittie and not giving her too many hard times. 

The humans have a saying and use it when they are so busy, it goes like this: Stop and take time to smell the flowers. I totally agree with them though I must say that I have never seen the mom or dad here playing in the flower arrangement so I am not sure which flowers they stop to smell. Anyway try it if you get a chance.

With my work being done destroying, I mean exploring, the flower arrangement it was time to take a little rest.
